The Inclined Stroke of the Mediterranean

Oblique House emerges from a clear gesture: a diagonal line that cuts through the sky and shapes an essential dwelling, embedded in the northern Mallorcan landscape. Positioned in a privileged location, the house offers panoramic views of two distinct bays and blends into its surroundings through pure lines, honest materials, and radical formal simplicity.

Its clean and powerful volume is accentuated by a sloping roof with a diagonal stroke that defines the project’s identity and creates constant visual tension between the structure and the sky. Large glass panes remove boundaries, allowing light and nature to become active elements of the interior experience.

The combination of natural stone, anodized finishes, warm flooring, and neutral-lined furniture reflects the essential design philosophy of Minimal Studio: beauty in absence, the prominence of void, and harmony with nature.

The house features two elegantly integrated swimming pools: an outdoor pool with open views of the landscape, and a raised pool, partially visible from the interior through an underwater window that turns the water into a living installation.

Oblique House does not seek to impress, but to endure.
An architecture that does not shout, but is never forgotten.
An ode to the Mediterranean, to radically minimal design, and to contemplative living.
