Tribute to the shadow

"Beauty is not found in objects but in the interaction between the shadow and light created", Junichiro Tanizaki.

Natural light is a fundamental divine gift for our ecosystem, each and every living being on this planet needs this free energy contribution for our well-being, even for our subsistence.

At Minimal Studio we like to pay homage to light through the geographical and aesthetic adaptation of our totality of projects. Each and every one of the aesthetic-functional elements used or created are focused adaptively in order to project the greatest use of sunlight possible, even consciously creating solid or partial physical protections, to generate the creation of shadow or even highlight a specific element.

Personally, we love darkness for its ability to generate beauty by creating shadows in places that in themselves are insignificant.

At Minimal Studio we have created Lighthouse, a commercial establishment captained by the Worldlight team as an offering to light.

With the main objective of creating a coherent connection or mimicry between the day/night transition, the space has been provided with elements that enhance the artificial diffusion of sunlight through natural reflectors or projectors such as water, or the solid opacity of concrete, ending in the creation or simulation of specific spaces always with the aim of creating a perfect interaction between user and space.
